About Dr. Goeckermann
Dr. Robert Goeckermann completed his undergraduate studies in the School of Science and Engineering at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana; where he dual-majored in Cell and Molecular Biology, as well as Exercise and Sport Science. Following the completion of his undergraduate degree, he attended Marquette University School of Dentistry, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery. Upon graduation from dental school, Dr. Goeckermann successfully completed his specialty training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Goeckermann's professional interests in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery are varied; however, these especially include Dental Implant Therapy, Orthognathic Surgery and Oral & Maxillofacial Reconstruction, as well as Oral Pathology Diagnosis and Surgical Treatment.
Dr. Goeckermann and his wonderful wife are blessed to have three sons. Dr. Goeckermann enjoys challenging himself mentally and physically with outdoor activities including running ultra-marathons; a sport that requires running farther than a traditional marathon of 26.2 miles. Additionally, as a nature-lover and adventurous man, Dr. Goeckermann regularly seeks out opportunities to go mountain biking and scuba diving.
