About Dr. Omoto
Dr. Omoto is a Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon and has been practicing in San Pedro and the South Bay since 1988. He is also on the medical staff of Torrance Memorial Medical Center, Little Company of Mary and San Pedro Peninsula Hospital
He attended the University of California, Berkeley for his undergraduate studies. He then received a Doctor of Medical Dentistry degree from the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Following one year of postgraduate training at the University of California, San Francisco, Dr. Omoto continued his education with a residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Harbor-UCLA Medical Center.
Academic Appointments & Professional Organizations
Serving as Chief of the division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Director of Resident Training at the Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, Dr. Omoto has the opportunity to instruct students and residents in all aspects of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, including the latest advances in implant procedures. He has been a UCLA faculty member since 1988.
Dr. Omoto is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and is a member of numerous other professional organizations, including the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the California Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
