About Dr. Hunter
Dr. Hunter is a Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. He obtained his DDS from Baylor College of Dentistry and received his postgraduate residency training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at St. John’s Mercy Medical Center in St. Louis, Missouri. Dr. Hunter is a Fellow of the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons and a Fellow of the American College of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons.
Leadership in the Dental Profession
Dr. Hunter is an active member of numerous professional organizations and has held several leadership positions, including President of the North Texas Society of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons. He has been nominated by his peers as a premier surgeon in his field and has also been featured in “Texas Monthly Magazine”, “Fort Worth Texas Magazine” and “D Magazine".
As a certified instructor, Dr. Hunter teaches Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support and was previously an instructor of Pediatric Advanced Life Support in accordance with the American Heart Association. He also donates his skills to help the less fortunate by participating in medical mission trips.
Community and Family
Dr. Hunter and his wife, Kathy, have four children. Outside of the practice, he can be found spending time with his family enjoying outdoor activities and coaching children’s sports. He is active in his community and dedicates much of his time to charitable organizations.
