About Dr. Searcey
Dr. Searcy graduated from Southwestern Oklahoma State University with a degree in Pharmacy. He continued his education receiving his dental degree from Oklahoma University Health Sciences Center where he also completed his studies and residency training in oral and maxillofacial surgery graduating in 1992. During his education, he received the Alpha Omega Fraternity Scholarship Award for highest scholastic standing, and an Award for Academic Excellence and Achievements from the American College of Dentists in 1988. He was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honorary Dental Society that same year.
His training also includes Laser Skin Resurfacing, Fundamentals in Facial Rejuvenation Surgery, and Advanced Trauma Life Support and Cardiac Life Support.
Leadership in the Dental Profession
While at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center he became a Clinical Assistant Professor full time, and part time faculty in the Section of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. He also taught at the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry as a Clinical Assistant Professor and part time faculty of the Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery.
He maintains membership in many professional organizations including the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons and the Oklahoma Dental Association.
Community and Family
He continues as a the Chief of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Services at the Baptist Integris Medical Center, is Past President of the Oklahoma County Dental Society and the Oklahoma Society of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons.
He is married and the father of four children. He resides in Edmond, where both he and his wife are active in the church and community.
