About Dr. Womack
As a Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, Dr. Womack is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Diplomate status is achieved after a continuous and ongoing professional evaluation of a surgeon’s competency. After earning his DDS degree and completing his residency Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Dr. Womack served as the Assistant Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery as well as the Assistant Director of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency at the prestigious Loma Linda University in Southern California.
He is an active member of several professional organizations including the California Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and on the national level, he is a member of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the American Cleft Palate and Craniofacial Association.
Because of his status as a Fellow of AAOMS and the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, he has the right to vote on the important issues facing Oral Surgeons and their practices, and to effect change by holding office within the organization. Fellowship is bestowed on a select group of doctors who complete an advanced Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery education program.
Dr. Womack serves on the staff at Enloe Medical Center where he provides emergency trauma services and performs in-patient surgery. He is also the Chairman of the Northern California Cleft Palate Panel.
About the Practice
As an experienced Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, Dr. Womack has made the commitment to eliminate the anxiety and fear patients often feel when anticipating any type of oral surgery. He practices a full range of Oral and Maxillofacial surgery with a special emphasis and expertise in dental implant therapy.
The entire team is extensively trained, including accredited courses in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Assisting, ACLS, PALS, CPR and first aid. The practice has a dedicated Implant Coordinator with over 20 years of experience in the dental profession. She serves as the liaison between Dr. Womack’s office and the referring dentists’ offices to ensure a seamless treatment sequence and a comfortable experience for the dental implant patients.
