About Dr. Parekh
Dr. Parekh is a Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. He graduated from Pittsburg State University in Kansas with two undergraduate degrees, a BS in Biology and a BA in Psychology. Dr. Parekh attended the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry, receiving his DDS degree, and through his dedication to his studies graduated at the top of his class. He continued his education by completing four years of advanced surgical training in an Oral and Maxillofacial residency program at the prestigious Cleveland Clinic and the MetroHealth Medical Center.
While receiving his training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, he concentrated on treating advanced surgical cases, including maxillofacial pathology and dentofacial deformities. Dr. Parekh maintains admitting privileges at Lake Pointe Hospital and Presbyterian Hospital of Rockwall.
Dr. Parekh maintains memberships in the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, the Texas Society of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, the Texas Dental Association, and American Dental Association. He also holds Diplomate status with the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the National Board of Anesthesiology completing the required advanced training and testing for these distinctions.
