About Darab & Richardson
As Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the doctors manage a wide variety of problems relating to the mouth, teeth and facial regions. They practice a full scope of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery with expertise ranging from dental implants to corrective jaw surgery and wisdom tooth removal. They also treat facial pain and injuries caused by facial trauma.
Our doctors are licensed by the state of North Carolina to administer general anesthesia and IV sedation in our office and are certified in advanced cardiac life support.
Your First Consultation
During the first appointment, a thorough review of your medical history will be taken, including medications you are currently taking. The doctors will continue with a comprehensive examination including the jaw, joints, soft tissues and teeth, and complete the process with a thorough screening for oral cancer. The examination is followed by a treatment conference where the doctors will provide all options for treatment, identify your needs and goals, and answer any questions.
We emphasize post-surgical follow-up care for our patients in addition to scheduled appointments and 24-hour on-call service. Our goal is to provide the very best possible oral surgery care so that each of our patients may achieve optimal dental health throughout his or her lifetime.
