About Associated Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons of Peoria
Associated Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons of Peoria has been serving patients in Central Illinois since 1971. With a combination of over 30 years of experience, our surgeons offer a wide array of treatment services that keeps them at the forefront of providing the highest quality of oral healthcare. Dr. Otten, Dr. Otte, and Dr. Schroeder have expertise in the area of dental implant placement, having completed numerous courses in implant dentistry as part of their education. They continue to build upon their implant education by attending continuing education seminars to stay up to date on the most innovative techniques.
At the initial implant consultation, patients will expect to have a diagnostic x-rays at no charge with a referral from a dentist. One of our surgeons will perform an examination of the gums and bone around the teeth and then discuss treatment options. Our experienced Implant Coordinator will present the treatment plan, costs and financing options, and will be available throughout the entire treatment process to answer any questions or concerns. We believe it is never too late to give our patients a second chance at a beautiful smile.
Meet Our Doctors
Dr. Otte is a Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. He grew up in Washington, Illinois, and attended Augustana College in the Quad Cities. He graduated from Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine and completed his residency training in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan.
Dr. Otten is a Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. He grew up in Washington, Illinois and completed undergraduate studies at Creighton University. He graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry in 1989 and Louisiana State Medical Center College of Medicine in 1992. Dr. Otten completed an internship in general surgery and a residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the Louisiana State Medical Center.
Dr. Schroeder grew up in Moscow, Idaho where he completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Idaho, completing a double major in Biochemistry and Microbiology. He graduated from the University of Florida College of Dentistry and completed his oral and maxillofacial surgical training at the University of Iowa’s Hospitals and Clinics where he also earned a master’s degree with research thesis focused on bone biology and dental implants.
