About Center for Oral & Facial Surgery
The Center for Oral & Facial Surgery was established in 1927 and is the oldest and largest Oral Surgery practice in San Diego County.
The doctors believe it is important their patients understand the dedication and the additional years of hospital-based surgical and anesthesia training they undertook after dental school. Their expertise ranges from dental implant surgery to full facial reconstruction including jaw surgery, bone grafting, facial trauma, and facial cosmetic procedures.
Their experienced surgical staff has completed highly-specialized training as Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery assistants. The team also includes Registered Nurses to administer and monitor both IV and general anesthesia. Their administrative staff is well versed in health procedures and the complexity of insurance billing.
Both offices employ Implant Coordinators who carefully monitor the progress of each dental implant patient and coordinate the stages of treatment with the patient’s general dentist. Having a dedicated Implant Coordinator insures the patient stays on track with their appointments and has complete understanding of the various stages from initial placement of the implants to final restoration of their mouth.
